Introducing the Association of District Nurse and Community Nurse Educators (ADNE)

The Association of District Nurse and Community Nurse Educators (ADNE) is a UK-based charity dedicated to supporting those involved in the education and supervision of community and home-based specialist nurses. Originally established as a member-led organisation, ADNE was formally recognised as a UK registered charity in 2019 to strengthen its mission and broaden its reach.

ADNE provides a vital network for district nursing students, their practice learning partners, and university lecturers across the UK. In addition, ADNE advocates for those supporting the education of all pre-registration and undergraduate nursing students focused on community and primary care services.

Through our dedicated website www.adne.org.uk, ADNE offers regular newsletters to members, bi-annual national conferences, and a range of valuable resources, updates, and opportunities for professional development and collaboration.

We are thrilled to be working with our colleagues & partners from IHCNO and warmly invite you to join us in London for the International Home Care Nurses Organization conference in June 2026.
